How loud are our Units?

All were tested from 10 feet away and the highest reading was recorded and were taken worst case scenario on hard ground between two buildings.  Over open water the sound levels are actually lower.

The surrounding dead air reading with out the unit running was 64 db.

Ok so how loud is that exactly?

The human ear can only tolerate up to 120 dB.  Normal conversation is from 50 to 60 dB.

Here are some other examples:

• 0   The softest sound a person can hear with normal hearing

• 10  Normal breathing

• 20  Whispering at 5 Feet

• 30  soft whisper

• 50  rainfall

• 60  normal conversation

• 110 shouting in ear

• 120 thunder
